How do I know when it's time to replace my windows?

Drafts, condensation between the panes, difficulty opening or closing, visible rot or warping, and rising heating bills are the most common signs. Most windows perform well for 15–25 years depending on material and exposure. We’re happy to assess your existing windows during a free consultation and give you an honest answer — including if replacement isn’t needed yet.

Can you build an oversized or arched entry door?

Yes — this is our specialty. We regularly build oversized panels, arched openings, custom grooved designs, sidelites, transoms and modern pivot-style entrances. If a project falls outside standard catalogue sizes, that’s exactly the kind of work we take on.

What makes a window energy-efficient in the Canadian climate?

Performance comes from a combination of factors: Low-E glass coatings, argon gas fills, warm-edge spacers, quality weather stripping and a tight, well-sealed frame. Just as important is the installation — even a premium window will underperform if it isn’t insulated and sealed properly in the opening.

How long does a typical installation take?

Most window projects are completed in one to two days depending on the number of openings. A single entry door is usually a one-day installation. Custom and oversized units require longer manufacturing lead times, which we’ll confirm clearly with you before the project begins.
